Established between Miami and Palm Beach, Coconut Creek was recognized as one of the “best cities to live in America.” It is a well-planned city with unique environmental awareness promoting their nature spots with plenty of trees, lush parks, waterways, and impressive landscape roads throughout their neighborhoods. Coconut Creek acquired its name from the coconut trees planted in the area by the early developers. The name “Coconut Creek” is a combination of Miami-Dade’s Indian Creek village and the neighborhood in Miami called the Coconut Grove. Coconut Creek is acknowledged as a community for nature-lovers and thriving businesses.
Coconut Creek is known as the “Butterfly Capital of the World.”
